Something About Silver Giveaway!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching so now is a great time to start thinking about gifts for all the special people in your life.  Today’s giveaway – a $40 gift certificate - is a great way to jump start the shopping for the ones you love.  Of course, you could also pick out a little something for yourself as well!

Something About Silver specializes in custom hand stamped jewelry and is made in Clearwater, Florida.  They create beautiful personalized rings, bracelets, necklaces and more.

I was attracted to this company because of their unique designs.  My favorite of which is the Vintage Style Wax Seal Bracelet.

It has a vintage eclectic look and features wax seal initial charms and freshwater pearls. The chain and charms are antiqued for a beautiful aged and artistic look.

The bracelet above is the sample I was sent to review.  Since I have several pieces of jewelry with the initials of my kids, I wanted to do something a little different.  I decided to write the word “RUN” as a way to remind myself of all the blessings I have received as the result of being a lifelong runner.

I am a big fan of charm bracelets and this one has happily found a home on my wrist on many occasions. I like the old-world, handcrafted look and that the clasp can be hooked on any of the chain links, making the bracelet’s size fully customizable.  The wider links also have me thinking about adding some additional charms – perhaps a few more pearls and a running charm or two!

Something About Silver has generously offered Red Door Home followers a chance to win a $40 gift certificate to their fabulous online store.  Pick out something for someone special or something for yourself!

Also, for the next ten days, RDH followers will receive a 10% discount on orders simply by entering the code “REDDOORHOME” upon check out.

To enter, simply leave a comment which includes your favorite Something about Silver piece of jewelry.  For extra entries follow Something About Silver’s Newsletter, like them on Facebook and/or follow on twitter then leave a comment letting me know which you did.

Details:
You must be a Red Door Home follower and a resident of the US
Contest closes midnight, January 17, 2012.
